The advisory board met in June 2025 at the Hack AG facilities in Kurtscheid. Hack AG is a leading German bakery manufacturer operating the Backcollege training center at their production site.

The program began with an overview of the snack and bakery market, followed by a production tour of the Hack AG facilities. The afternoon focused on artificial intelligence applications in retail, starting with a foundational presentation on current AI developments and future trends. Professor Daniela Wiehenbrauk presented the activities of the Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence (IPAI) and DHBW Heilbronn, followed by discussions on AI implementation in German retail and emerging AI trends from Asian markets.
