The advisory board met in May 2024 at the UNITI trade fair in Stuttgart. UNITI is Germany’s leading trade fair for the fuel station and convenience retail industry, bringing together suppliers, operators, and technology providers. The morning session featured a presentation by Christian Stöppler, Managing Director at ISM International System for
Media, on digital retail media potential for fuel stations, followed by Sabine Benoit’s update on the ongoing retail media study. The afternoon consisted of a guided tour visiting multiple exhibitors including Ryd (formerly Tanktaler), ViewNet, Filibri, Decor Metall, and VusionGroup, all showcasing digital solutions for in-store media, screens,
and shelf displays. The day concluded with an exclusive UNITI Members Night in Hack’s Genussgarten pavilion, where participants were hosted by chef Johann Lafter.
