The advisory board met in November 2024 at the Chocolate Museum in Cologne. The Chocolate Museum is operated by Lindt & Sprüngli and serves as both a visitor
attraction and brand positioning platform showcasing chocolate production and heritage. The morning program included a presentation and tour led by Klaus Schopen, Head of
Marketing at the Chocolate Museum, and Sabine Schreder, Head of B2C, E- Commerce, Digital and CRM at Lindt & Sprüngli, exploring the museum’s concept and contribution to brand positioning. Moritz Klein, Director of Format Management at REWE To Go, presented new REWE To Go concepts, followed by a guided tour of the REWE To Go store on Hohe Strasse where lunch was served. The afternoon sessions featured Julian Minereu from REWE on artificial intelligence applications, Anne Haubert and Niels Bungenstock from Lekkerland on data insights and category management, Sabine Benoit on the completion of the retail media study and AI trends in retail, and concluded with Klemens Skibicki presenting on digital transformation and leadership in the digital age.
